Micro Lens Engineer

Responsibilities

Micro-lens material and fabrication process development:

• Work with optical designers to generate micro-lens array design.
• Work closely with material suppliers to develop advanced lens materials.
• Work with partners to develop wafer level lens replication process.
• Design testing plan to ensure results meet product requirements and reliability.
• Hands on fabrication of prototype assemblies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s, or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Optics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with wafer level optics.
• Deep knowledge of material selection for micro lens applications.
• Cleanroom process experience.
• Experience with optical modelling software (Zemax, Lumerical, LightTools etc.)
• Experience working with micro alignment machines, e.g. die-bond, wafer alignment.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal/communication skills within the company and with partners, customers, and consultants.
