Controller
Cynch
Cynch's team of accountants and AI experts creates technology that empowers accountants to help business owners thrive. We provide the insight and clarity needed to guide clients to their best outcomes.
Cynch AI is seeking a Controller who is opinionated, collaborative, and forward thinking.
Someone who can build our financial foundation from the ground up.
You'll own the complete accounting operation for a scaling startup: month-end close, GAAP financials, audit management, multi-state payroll, cash forecasting, and the systems that make it all work. This isn't about maintaining what exists—you'll be evaluating, implementing, and improving our entire financial stack while keeping us audit-ready and compliant across multiple entities and states.
You'll work directly with the CEO, have full autonomy over financial operations, and make decisions that directly impact how the company scales. If you're a CPA who's equally comfortable closing the books, managing debt covenants, and selecting the right ERP, this role gives you the scope to do your best work.
